It all started when I fell in love with a wild pattern at a fabric shop and had to make something with it.
I love all kinds of textiles and I cannot pass up fabrics with amazing patterns, even if they are not kimonos.
So as a special treat for myself, I make my Kimagure ("Whimsy") Collection piece with non-kimono fabrics.

I’ve been wanting to wear a pair like these myself, so I made them. It’s as simple as that! I hope you like them too.
The trousers are made from slightly stiffer fabric, thus creating a beautiful, voluminous silhouette without losing their shape.

Front belt closure and elastic in back. Side zipper.
They look great with a top tucked in or out, tucked in for a more contrast. I think pairing them with a longer jacket feels put together, taking it down a notch in a nice way.
The trousers are unlined.

The model is 155cm (5’1”).
